In a normal cone shaped filter, water flow tends to be gathered at the base of the filter. In order to prevent over extraction , the base of our cores cone filter is raised so the water flows outwards, and does not gather in the central lower area. Thanks to this raised base, strong bitterness does not come into the coffee liquid.

A filter with small round mesh holes can easily be clogged by coffee particles. So water cannot flow outwards, and flows inside the filter and gathers in the central lower area. Because of this, the coffee tends to be over extracted. The over extracted coffee tastes tends to be with harshness and bitterness.

HOW TO USE

Boil the water.

Place the filter on a cone-shaped dripper.

Put ground coffee in the filter and level out before pouring.Max capacity of ground coffee is 64g.

The first pouring is just for blooming.Pour water inside the center circle of the coffee and bloom the coffee for 40 seconds.
The volume of water for the 1st pouring shall be equivalent to the weight of the ground coffee.

After blooming,continue to pour hot water divided into several times.Hot water shall be poured to be evenly spread all over the ground coffee.

After pouring the required volume of hot water, remove the filter from the filter holder.Stir the coffee liquid with a spoon to even its strength.
